Car Wash Cenote Taj Mahal

Cave Diving Photos from The Pitt at Dos Ojos

The Pitt at Dos Ojos is an amazing dive site, located very close to Pet Cemetary Cenote.  At nearly four hundred feet deep, it is one of the deepest caves on the Yucatan Peninsula.  Cave Divers leap into the pit from the lip of the opening, which is well over forty feet high.  Quite the jump and the climb out is very interesting as well.  There are human remains at about 160', below the halocline.
